Volunteer Spotlight: Cooley Fales

Girls Incorporated of Greater Atlanta is fortunate to have many Strong, Smart, Bold volunteers in our corner. For the March volunteer spotlight, we celebrate Ms. Cooley Fales. Cooley first heard of Girls Inc. when a friend invited her to join a golf team in the Ladies Golf Event hosted by the organization in 2010.  She loved the event and participated each year. Cooley also attended a Girls Night Out event, and was introduced to the Girls Inc. message of empowerment, which is very close to her heart – education, health, and finances are skills that are vital for young women to have!  In 2014, Cooley was able to start volunteering as a Homework Helper and she says, “It has been a dream to be able to connect with the 2nd and 3rd grade girls. It is truly a gift to see them every week and to watch them develop as the semester goes on.”

Cooley is originally from Miami, but has lived in Atlanta since 1997.  She works in wealth management and also runs a cooking school.  She loves to play tennis, practice yoga, race in triathlons, hike, read, and travel. With Ms. Cooley Fales in our corner, we will inspire girls to be the Strong, Smart, Bold women of tomorrow!
